SERVICES

Dispute resolution

The Mediation Center provides the following services:

• Provides information and instructions on mediation
• Organizes mediation procedures
• Assists disputing parties in selecting mediator from the list of mediators, maintained by the Mediation Center
• Manages the relationship between the disputing parties and the mediator
• Organizes support services in the course of mediation, such as translation, secretary services, etc.
• Administers financial aspects of mediation
• Provides premises and other technical and logistic means, necessary for conducting the mediation.

Training

By Order No LS-04-716/01.10.2007 of Minister of Justice Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been approved as an organization that will train mediators. The Mediation Center organizes trainings for mediators in accordance with the legal requirements, the completion of which is a prerequisite for registration in the Unified Register of Mediators kept by the Ministry of Justice.

The Mediation Center provides information on mediation through its web-site and organizes informational and educational events on mediation.
